Ported to HTMLy!

This site used to be published using Hugo. This is a great tool to generate static sites and automate the publishing if your hosting service allows you to do so.

For cheap web hosting services with no such integrations and no SFTP access, publishing the site requires manual labor so I decided to port it to something that is as lightweight as possible and compatible with markdown. Furthermore, it should be compatible with PHP as well because my current service provider does not allow me to run anything else.

After testing and evaluating a lot of solutions with those characteristics I decided to go with HTMLy. It is simple, as lightweight as possible and it allows me to update this site more often without the burdens imposed by this provider.

If you have such issues as I do, HTMLy is an excellent solution. Just don't expect it to be a full featured CMS with a lot of plugins and fancy extensions.

Maybe with this tool installed, I'll be able to update this site more often...
